It’s been an incredible month for many of the women Members that make up the North Florida PGA.
Last week, 7 Members competed in the 2022 LPGA Professionals National Championship:
- Cheryl Anderson
- Jennifer Borocz
- Sandra Changkija
- Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth
- Cathy Edelen
- Destiny Lawson
- Pat Shriver
Following three rounds of play, Changkija, the Assistant Professional at ChampionsGate Golf Resort, secured the victory after winning a 3-hole playoff and finishing first at -2 (211). Connelly Eiswerth finished tied for sixth, leading both women to earn exemptions into the 2023 KPMG PGA Women’s Championship.
Anderson finished tied for fifth place in the Senior Division, and Pat Shriver placed 18th.
This week, Anderson and Shriver are competing in the Senior Division in the Florida Women’s Open. Currently, after one round of play, Anderson is tied for third place, and Shriver is tied for seventh place.
Changkija and Lawson are competing in the Open Division following their impressive finishes last week.
