The Tim Beckwith Scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of PGA Master Professional Tim Beckwith, a cherished member of the Southwest Chapter of the North Florida PGA who was known for his integrity, persistence, hard work, and sense of humor. Tim dedicated his career to teaching and mentoring others, always seeing potential in people and encouraging them to believe in themselves both on and off the golf course. 

Created by the Beckwith family in partnership with the North Florida PGA, this scholarship supports students who reside within the North Florida PGA Section and are pursuing higher education while facing financial barriers. It is awarded to young individuals who have demonstrated strong academic achievement, shown an interest in golf or other athletic endeavors, and embody the character values Tim lived by, including kindness, determination, and a positive spirit. More than just financial assistance, the scholarship carries forward Tim’s belief in helping others grow, succeed, and feel supported in their journey.
