Governance Committees (listed in hierarchy order)
The Executive Board is a governance committee empowered by the Constitution and Bylaws with the overall management of the Section and shall have the right to interpret governing documents and give direction in cases not provided therein.
The Officers Committee is a governance committee empowered with the overall management of the Section when the Executive Board is not in session.
The Chapter Boards are a governance committee empowered with the overall management of the Chapter. This management includes, but is not limited to communications, education, and tournaments.
The Foundation Board is a governance committee empowered by the North Florida PGA and Bylaws with the overall management of the North Florida PGA Foundation.
The Finance Committee is a governance committee empowered with to provide financial oversight for the Section to ensure transparency to the membership. Although the entire board carries fiduciary responsibility for the organization, the Finance Committee shall serve as leaders in this area.
The Tournament Committee is a core support committee empowered to oversee the Section tournament program and ensure quality playing opportunities for North Florida PGA Members and apprentice.

The Career Services Committee is a core support task force empowered to advance the careers of PGA Members and Apprentices by providing programs that will enhance their job seeking skills and improve their marketability to promote their value to future and current employers.
Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity & Inclusion is a task force with the core purpose to constantly review D&I within the Section and guide the Section Leadership on how to ensure D&I is a pillar of the Section’s culture.
The Education Committee is a core support task force empowered to plan and implement relevant and cost-effective educational opportunities for North Florida PGA members to enhance their professional skills.
The Engagement Committee is a core support task force empowered to develop strategies to communicate and promote the North Florida PGA to PGA Members and consumers.
The Player Development Committee is a core support task force empowered to develop and implement Section and key national programs designed to strengthen the core, engage the lapse and grow new golfers.
Recognition is a core support task force empowered with the core purpose to recognize and promote North Florida PGA Members internally and externally. Task force is also charged with making recommendations to the Executive Board on enhancements to the Section Awards Program.
