WHAT IS PGA HOPE?
PGA HOPE is one of the North Florida PGA REACH pillars. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, lead by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the cost of programming is free to all Veterans.
PGA HOPE has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which enables direct referrals to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy.

| We will be releasing program registration seasonally. PGA HOPE sessions have been put into one of the season based of when the first class starts for each session. Please view the chart below to see more information on how PGA HOPE programs are categorized. |

Please Note:
- If you cannot make it to at least 5 of the classes we urge you to sign up for a different session in order to get the full experience.
- If you have participated in PGA HOPE before you are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate again due to the large number of veterans waiting to participate. You will be removed from registration when we see you signed up again.
- DO NOT sign up for more than one PGA HOPE session at a time.
- If a program is completely full feel free to add your name to the wait list. Our wait list is first come first serve. If a spot opens up all participants on the wait list will receive an email letting them know a spot has opened and the first person to register will be given that spot.

MEET THE TEAM
PGA HOPE AMBASSADOR 2019
Doug was elected as a PGA HOPE Ambassador for North Florida PGA in 2019. He graduated from the St. Cloud PGA HOPE in the fall of 2018. Doug served in the U.S Marine Corps and loves helping and connecting with fellow veterans.

PGA HOPE AMBASSADOR 2024
Josh was elected as a PGA HOPE Ambassador for North Florida PGA in 2024. He graduated from the St. Cloud PGA HOPE in the spring of 2024. Josh served in the U.S Army for over 25 years and rose up through the ranks to become a Sergeant First Class before retiring in 2022.

PGA HOPE AMBASSADOR 2025
Don was elected as a PGA HOPE Ambassador in 2025. He graduated from the Jax Beach PGA HOPE Summer Class in 2023. He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer and Emergency Manager, and he is a proud Purple Heart recipient. In 2025, he was a key member of our PGA HOPE North Florida Secretary’s Cup Team, which went on to win the event. Don is also an aspiring PGA Professional and is currently an affiliate.
